Lommel

Lommel is a green city in the province Limburg, that has over 32.000 habitants.
Besides residential areas, the city also has a number of nature reserves such as 'De Watering', de 'Lommelse Sahara' and numerous forests and moors. Important for the city are the silver sand for the glass industry. Some sand quarries are transformed into natural and recreational areas.

Lommel is also known for its commercial and shopping center 'De Singel'.
